Terms of use.
Basic terms for accounts, content, publication and use of the service.
Service provider and scope of terms
Dine is provided by Berkay Huz under the Huzstudio brand. The service contact address is info@huzstudio.com. Dine is online software for restaurants and similar businesses to create, manage, publish and share digital menus using QR codes.
These terms govern use of Dine. Dine is primarily intended for businesses; whether a transaction is a consumer transaction depends on its actual purpose and applicable law. Mandatory consumer and personal data protection rights cannot be waived by these terms.
Account, authority and secure use
Registration information must be accurate and current, and you must be authorized to use the account and act for the business you represent. Protect your credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support.
Unauthorized access to other accounts, bypassing security measures, publishing malware or spam, hosting unlawful content and obstructing others' use of the service are prohibited. Technical security limits and your plan quotas apply.
Your content and license
You must have the right to publish menus, prices, allergens, photos, logos and links and keep them accurate and current. You retain rights to your content. You grant Dine only the storage, reproduction, technical conversion and publication rights necessary to provide the service through your chosen channels.
The restaurant is responsible for its products, food information and transactions with guests. Dine is not the seller in those transactions. Rights to Dine software and branding belong to their respective owners; a subscription does not transfer those rights.
Plans, billing and automatic renewal
The free plan and Dine Pro scope, usage limits and current prices are explained on the relevant plan/membership screen. Pro is offered monthly or annually. There is no free trial. Taxes, currency, total amount charged and renewal period are shown before payment confirmation; review these before purchasing.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the chosen period unless canceled, and the next period is charged. Paid access depends on successful payment and subscription verification. Material changes affecting prices or subscriptions are disclosed before taking effect under applicable notification rules; past payments are not changed retroactively.
Purchasing through Polar
Ordering and payment are handled through our authorized online reseller, Polar. Polar is the Merchant of Record for these orders and manages payment, invoicing, payment support and refunds under its own buyer terms. Contact Berkay Huz at info@huzstudio.com for Dine use and product support.
Polar buyer terms shown at checkout also apply to the transaction. Do not send full card details to Dine or support email addresses.
Cancellation, refunds and subscription end
Cancel subscriptions through the management link in Polar's transaction email or through Polar payment support. Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid period and stops the next renewal. Not using the account, unpublishing menus or disconnecting a custom domain does not cancel a subscription.
Cancellation and payment refunds are separate actions. Refund and withdrawal requests are explained in the policy below. When the paid period ends, Pro access ends and Free plan limits apply; this does not mean the account or all content is deleted at once. Verified freezing or deletion in account settings stops automatic renewal before completion. If cancellation cannot be completed, the action is not considered complete and an error is shown.
Freezing and permanently deleting an account
In account settings, freeze or permanently delete your account using a one-time code sent to your registered email. Once permanent deletion is verified, access and publication close and account and restaurant content is deleted. The action cannot be undone. Export any content you need before deleting.
A 14-day period begins when the account is frozen. Signing in successfully before it ends reactivates the account. After 14 days, reactivation closes and the account is permanently deleted in the next daily automatic cleanup. Freezing does not pause or extend paid subscription time. Automatic renewal is disabled and does not automatically resume on reactivation.
Switching from monthly to annual adds 12 calendar months to the end of the current paid period and changes the existing subscription to annual. The immediate charge and new renewal date appear in a separate confirmation screen. Annual access is not added before payment succeeds.
Voluntarily freezing or deleting an account does not automatically entitle you to a refund or extra time for unused subscription time. Statutory withdrawal, defective service, refund and objection rights and Polar's applicable refund terms remain available. Outstanding debts and statutory retention obligations do not automatically disappear with account deletion.
Domains, QR codes and service availability
You must have the right to use the custom domain and manage its DNS. Domain, internet access and third-party service conditions may affect menu access. Check your QR before printing and after publication/domain changes; closing the account, publication or relevant features may affect access.
Maintenance, technical errors or provider outages may occur; there is no separately agreed service level commitment. This does not remove mandatory obligations concerning the service's agreed characteristics or your rights regarding defective/incomplete service.
Restrictions, liability and disputes
Necessary and proportionate access measures may be taken for unlawful use, security risks or serious contract breaches. Reasons and remedies are provided where legally and technically possible. Contact support regarding incorrect restrictions, account closure or content access.
Liability is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude intent, gross negligence or liability that cannot legally be limited. Disputes may first be addressed at info@huzstudio.com; this does not prevent mandatory legal remedies. Consumers retain rights to apply to relevant consumer arbitration committees and courts.
Updates to the terms
The current version is published on this page. Changes materially affecting subscription or usage rights are communicated under applicable notification and consent rules. Merely visiting the site does not constitute consent to new charges or changes requiring separate legal consent.
